Overview:
In order to meet subscriber demands for enhanced internet-based video on demand (VOD) services, the Zeugma SmartVideo application leverages the bandwidth management capabilities of the Zeugma Services Node (ZSN) and delivers guaranteed quality of service (QOS). The SmartVideo application takes advantage of the Zeugma Open Application Sandbox (OAS) to identify internet video flows, mark the traffic with appropriate QOS policy, discretely queue the session, and increase the available subscriber bandwidth to accommodate the flow.
